Everyone is familiar with infusions. The traditional cup of herb tea is the archetypal infusion. Of course, herb tea is not truly tea, as tea is made from the leaves of Camellia sinensis. However, nobody asks to be served an herb infusion!
There are many ways to make infusions, and here we shall show you the traditional folk method.
In the Advanced Herbal Medicine Making course you’ll compare the folk and official methods and as you’ll see, recipes for infusions given in the pharmacopeia’s can differ greatly from simple herbal infusions made by steeping herbs in boiling water.
