My excuses are time and money. It does not help that I lack confidence in my product. I have started the groundwork i just need to commit to working a little bit every day on my plan, one step forward each day.

Nothing is stopping me, i push hard every day to make things work.

This is a great push that I need. My excuses are Money and adequate training. Though I have started making Soaps for sale but I will take it higher. I also trust that I will learn more and gain confidence to defend my products as I progress. I am so blessed by the questions and limitations to side hustle. They are so real. Thanks.

What excuses are you using for not starting your side hustle?
I am ready ,ore than ever now. i want to do what i love most
How will you overcome them?
no excuses for me
If you don’t have any valid excuses, what needs to happen next?
is to plan my launch
When will you make it happen?
with the covid happening , i am not sure if should use social network and make zoom launch
Then, nail down your launch date – the date you’ll ‘open your doors’ for business.

Lockdown has really slowed things down. I am not allowed to see clients at the moment, but I am using this time to update my knowledge and plan my next step.

Have already started. I do have knowledge about herbs as I have them in my garden for a number of years. I also know that my knowledge is only a drop in the bucket and I cannot wait to start learning more. I know that it is impossible to learn everything in a month or even a year as this is an ongoing learning process.

my excuse is money and experience. but i made a batch of laundry soap today on a different way, will give samples away and get some feedback if it is good and then I will start selling

I have completed 2 years of herbal training and LLC’d my company on Monday! It’s the baby steps and courses like this that keep you focused and give you another “ah-ha!” moment.

I have tried to use social anxiety as an excuse. It took many many self reminders of… “Whats the worst thing they’re going to say? No? Then no excuses!”
I had to remind myself that whatever i was not actively attempting to change, i was CHOOSING.
My next actions regarding growing and building my business are to continue online social media networking/blogging, and as spring turns to summer, focusing a bit more on live action networking and forging connections within my local community, such as continuing to speak at the health food store when invited and attending local events and farmers markets, armed with samples of products and literature such as fliers and brochures.
Again- cannot thank you enough fpr the opportunity to participate in these learning modules! So grateful!

I have always said ‘you cannot succeed if you don’t try’. Never has it been truer than where I am right now with herbs.

It is a big step to just get started….but so wonderful when a client phones to tell how wonderful your product is and that they are buying it for their family also.

I find doing markets helps, you have a lot of interaction with people passing and even if you are repeating yourself the whole day it helps you to get to know yourself as well as your product. Plus you see how other people set up their stalls and boards to draw in more feet, and as an added bonus you get some well-needed vitamin D 🙂

I’m on the train and learning as I go. I made it known on my blog and my store that I’m no expert but my thirst for knowledge and sharing that knowledge will go hand-in-hand. I will always do my due diligence to provide accurate information, that means what I don’t know I will research.

too scared to take the first step. I feel I dont know enough. Not nearly enough. Theres is so much to this whole aspect that one cant just blindly jump in after having grown a few plants and read a few books. This is a very difficult and skilled industry to enter into. One has to have true know how or could end up doing harm to someone.

I am still sitting at the train station trying to convince myself to get on the train not because I don’t believe that herbal products work but that I feel I don’t have enough knowledge about herbs and that I have a lot to learn still.
But the encouragement is very helpful. Thank you.
