I’m making herbal bath salt, soaps and body scrubs. I still need to figure out a better way to get sales and a more cost effective way to do the deliveries.

We have been making chilli sauce from excess chillies in friends gardens and sourcing them from local suppliers! My wife recipe is starting to gain some traction. Keen to see where this will go.

Ive been making and selling herbal products, ranging from skin care to smoke cleansing bundles, salves and balms to bath salts, to witchy items such as mop bucket blends to cleanse the home of negativity and often incorporate herbs into various other products. As my herbal education thus far has been geared towards clinical practice, I also offer to make whatever I believe will allow my clients to achieve their desired results.

I love the medicinal part of herbs, and I have already started with some salves and creams with essential oils, and previously made some flu-relief tea, but have not yet really get into selling much, or setting up the necessary websites for my business, which is called Ness. I first need to get permission from my full-time work, which is posing to be a problem. This is however just a hiccup, and we will get there eventually. I love the ideas of the bath salts, tea, dream pillows and wedding gifts. Will have to see how Ness pan out.

I just made my first successful rose hydrosol and it smells wonderful. I tried several times but left it for too long and ended up with a hydrosol that was very faint in scent. I am happy with my latest production. I love the herbal dream pillows. I would love to try those.

I already have a small home-based business, but looking to expand. At the moment, I grow vegetable and herb seedlings and sell it at the Farmers Market in Pretoria. I am more focused on the herbs and medicinal plants, but I do grow some funky veggies that you don’t find everywhere. I also sell heirloom seed. Whenever I have some excess herbs in my garden, I also sell bunches of fresh and/or dried herbs. I am looking to expand and make bath salts as well as various herbal tea combinations. Later I will try making things like kefir too. The possiblities are endless! I have far too many ideas and can’t keep up with them all! So, baby steps….

I had a small herb nursery about 3 years ago, but because of circumstances I had to close, now I have the time to start again. I even still have some of my previous clients that still ask me for plants, so I do have a client base. Can not wait to start and add some of the ideas you have spoke about above.

Growing and distributing some of the hard to find herbs is what resonate with me. Herbs like Nigella Sativa (Black seed) which is in high demand in Nigeria but not grown here.
2. Bitter Gourd (Mormodica Charantia) to help those who suffer from diabetes as we see the upsurge of the ailment, and as the mainstream medicine does so little to help those suffering from the ailment.
I am also looking at cannabis as medical plant and I am already growing it to make the. The medical importance of cannabis is totally overwhelming.
