Never knew the importance of silence time cause I had no idea, this was an enlightenment for me.
Not all it has never been part of me, maybe lack of knowledge or so.
Mindful Presence is an intensely hard but rewarding mindset to find yourself in! I have added 10-15 minutes of meditation a day (that usually turns into 30m-1hr) I love it. It was hard to get started but finding this atonement to your true self on all four planes (Body, Mental, Emotional, Spirit) has really helped me. It is part of what inspired me to take this course!
Silence is golden! We are constantly busy with work, life, social media, TV etc. You have to make silence. Even with the radio on in the background, you don’t achieve total and complete silence. I need my silence to talk to God. Very, very important.
And now the “silence is golden” song is stuck in my head! 🙂
Silent moments are a part of my routine. it is really a filfilling time to have moments of encouragement that I usually take from my bible reading or bible texts that I have written and placed on the wall for me to read and memorise everyday.
I try, however i am a bit like you in having a mind that is very difficult to silence. I do however find that the guided meditations for me are easier in helping to silence my thoughts as it helps me focus rather than let all my random frustrating thoughts come through and yes, i find that after that you can definitely feel the effects of it. Hence i keep trying.
This is the essence of life and it makes perfect sense to me when I consider my Creator through it all.
Meditation is so important, I try for at least 10 minutes when I wake up ( I have a two year old) so I take what I can get.
The days I miss that silence, I fair worse than when I start with silence and reflection.

I start my day by being silent, reading Bible and praying

I spend 15 minutes of my morning in prayer and 15-45 minutes of the evening in meditation. They’re vital to my sanity. 🙂

No, it is not part of my daily routine, yet I have considered adding something basic to my day.
