Introduction

If you’re always dreading the winter because of all the cold and flu bugs flying around, not to speak of the new ‘superbug’ scares (and pandemics), this module will change your life.

How do you protect yourself and your loved ones against cold and flu and superbug outbreaks?

First, start replicating what Green Healers have been doing for years with exceptional results. Yes, we still get a cold. But it is always self-limiting and short-lived because we spend considerable time to make sure that our immune systems are functioning properly.

Next, when everybody around you is showing signs of having colds and the flu, limit social interaction and use personal hygiene measures. Stay at home. Refuse to kiss anybody – including the beloved pets. Sterilize (with hyssop) your family and friends before they set foot in your home. Wash your hands, etc.

The cold is one of the simplest maladies with which man suffers. It is also one of the most common of his affections. It has been one of his most frequent difficulties throughout recorded history.

Yet only within the last few years has any effort been made to determine the nature and cause of colds. During these few years, many “research” workers have spent huge sums of money and expended much time and energy in their effort to discover the cause of colds.

Most people are contempt to let the common cold run its course. Granny used to say that “If you take medicine for a cold, you will be cured within seven days, and if you don’t, you will be cured within a week.”

But the common cold is the cause of considerable misery. Searches for its cure are like searches for the Holy Grail. Fortunately, herbal therapeutics have much to offer.

The protocol and remedies contained in this module can be regarded as common knowledge or folklore. You will find them in most good books on herbology. Millions of people will testify to its safety and effectiveness, and some of it have recently been scientifically validated.

In this Module, you’ll learn how the Green Healer approaches common disorders afflicting modern mankind. It also serves as a reference for your next battle with a cold or flu.

But perhaps most importantly the aim of this module is to give you a better understanding of the paradigm of the Green Healer which we explore in detail in the Herbal Therapeutics Specialization.

Here’s what we’ll cover in this Module:

I am very exited to do this as I need to start building my husband’s immune system after his chemo treatment as well as my own after all the stress I went through the past year. I love the Green Healers approach to a Cold.

I’m excited to get into this. At this moment here in the US, we are standing on the doorstep of cold and flu season, and the COVID delta variant is wrecking havoc in our state. So this is the best possible time to study this.
    Bring it on!

The potential power of your own immune system is often underestimated and sadly a large number of people have deficient immune systems due to poor diets, high levels of sugar intake etc. Additionally, the soil used to grow our food has often become depleted of nutrients meaning that even folk who eat a balanced diet often don’t get sufficient quantities of high quality nutrients. This should be our first line of defense and then simple herbal remedies just help give that little extra to assist the body to recover quickly.

The Green Healer’s Approach to Cold.
    This struck me.
If you take Medicine, Cold can be cured with in seven days, if you do not take Medicine too, it can be cured in seven days. Whao! I remember that a Doctor refused to give drugs to a baby that had cold. He said it will go on it’s own and it did.
