This protocol gave me hope! And a deeper understanding that we just need to help create the right conditions for the plant, and it should revive again!

Very cool, I had no idea there was a method in which to save a dying plant. I usually just give up when my plant is dying 🙁 now I know i could have saved them!

You can use diatomaceous earth food grade to replace everything mentioned in the article, also retains moisture in the soil and the silica helps strengthen the cell walls of plants making them more pest resistent.

I had no inkling that chamomile tea could be good for plants! I’ve heard of comfrey tea being amazing for them, and I already use seaweed solution and fish emulsion fertiliser, but chamomile is something else to add.

You treat a plant like you would a human! Except don’t prune a human. That would be bad.

I attended one of your courses in 2014 ant this recipe was included in the course. Since then I’m still using the recipe when necessary. I don’t use any chemicals in my garden, I believe in keeping it organic.

am I at the right spot? starting with desease management in stead of the basics eg physiology seems wrong
I have a large beehive, and will hate to kill them with insectisides. rather do away with sick a plant or even better strive to keep the soil and plants healthy ie preventative

I would not use any poisons in my garden – we have frogs and chameleons who would be very sensitive. If a plant is seriously infested, I would rather remove it. Case in point is our Bay tree, which has got too big, is covered in what appears to be black aphid and it’s sending out suckers in a large radius around the tree, which if left, will all grow into trees. I have recently started using worm tea for distressed plants.
