This is my favourite time in growing my own veggies. I love it to harvest my own fresh produce for cooking, using fresh and so many ways to store and preserve your veggies.
The interesting tip is when you harvest veggies for processing, they should be cooled and stored under refrigeration to preserve flavour and quality.
Still a lot of information to help with harvesting my veggies.

knowing when a crop is ready for harvesting was one of my fears, but I found 2 fantastic books at Bargain Books. Both the books are by Jane Griffiths, one on veggies and the other on herbs. With what I learned here and the books, I think I will be ok growing and harvesting my first crop.
