Melianthus comosus is a fast-growing, drought-resistant shrub, with attractive feathery-green foliage and orange sweet pea-like flowers. The nectar-rich flowers attract sunbirds. It is suitable for mixed borders, thrives in any soil – full sun, prune to keep neat. (Credit: Wildflower Nursery)
