This course is awesome. You learn new things more and more about herbs in general.
I can recommend this course to anyone looking to learn herbs and how are used them to treat diseases.
On top of that it used the easy English words which is understandable to anyone whom he/she is not English speaking like myself here.

It was a good overview of botany and understanding plant features and how to identify them. The last unit felt a bit confusing (maybe I was reading in too much on it). I would recommend to put down van Wyk’s book as a prescribed for this course to help understand Unit 4 or expand on the topic a little more. All-in-all, it is a good foraging guide and helps complete the picture of herbalism.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone. I had an issue with the classification, yet it has been several years since I took Biology in Highschool. Although I did relearn a few things and some new ones, so this is a great course for beginners and expert alike.

Awesome class! I was actually very nervous about this class, but the way this is presented made it easier to understand. Thanks for all the work that went into this subject.

I learned so much I did not know about leaves and how they are placed on a branch. The subject was explained in a manner that was easily understandable.
Just a small note:
I struggled a bit with the naming of leaf parts while doing the last assignment, I did not know which name to use for a certain part of the leaf I was analyzing. I did however find the words I wanted to use after a lot of searching.
Maybe if a sketch of a leaf can be added to the material with the correct term for each part of the leaf (like the sketch of the flower parts) for the students who don’t know the parts of a leaf.

Thank you for your comment, Nadia. Please refer to the sketches and explanations in Unit 4 (starting on page 35) of your course manual. You’ll find all the information you need to complete the final assignment.
